A Health Journal No More
I realized after glancing back through our blog that I seem to spend a lot of time describing whatever aches and pains we've been experiencing. How dull! So no more, I promise! (even though Jay is definitely trying to be sick right now...he even managed to come down with a fever. But no more!) Just because I feel like my life as a mother has been wrought with runny noses and coughs lately doesn't mean that I can't think of more interesting things to write about. For instance, Jayson made a fishing pole with a stick and some yarn and has been throwing it over our balcony, catching "fish". There, that's much better. Also, I ran 10 miles this morning, Aidan is doing the most fabulous inchworm crawl, and Jay is taking me out tonight. These things are all very interesting! Another hillarious thing just happenned...I just asked if "everyone" (meaning Jay and Jayson, who follow me around all day long like one very large and one very small shadow) would please leave me alone while I type. Jay took Jayson out to the living room and said "let's play a game." Jayson asked, "Oh, you mean the leave me alone game?" Clever!

I can't wait for Aidan to learn the Haka in New Zealand. Hopefully it will prove to be an effective way for him to release aggression, and he can stop throwing balls at my head.

Jayson singing "The World is So Big"
In case you have trouble understanding...
The world is so big and oh, so round
And even God's creations are almost so found.
Brothers and sisters and trees so tall,
animals big and animals small.
The world is so big and oh, so round
And even God's creations are almost so found...
etc, etc.
The correct words are:
The world is so big and oh, so round
And in it God's creations are found.
Mountains and valleys and trees so tall,
Animals big and animals small.
The world is so big and oh, so round
God loves us all, His blessings abound

A Photographer in the Making
Jayson loves taking pictures! He took most of these while we were on vacation in Washington and a few at home. I love that he takes pictures of himself. He then asks me to show them to him and he giggles a little when he sees what terrific shots he's gotten.

Steph,
Hilarious! I love your blogs. You have a gift for writing!
Okay, okay.....Have you ever seen Home Alone? If you haven't for a while...check it out of your library and watch it. Jayson definitely has characteristics to the personality of that kid....and even looks like him too! ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. When I watched the film you had above (with Jayson in it), it reminded me of it. So funny.
What a cutie!
Would love to hear a blog about your new couch. Crystal says that it makes a lovely velcrow noise. :)
I hope you are having fun!
My passport arrived yesterday. Sigh.
